Maria Di Giovanni 2016

In Honour of Stefano Di Giovanni

Reserve your tickets for this fundraising supper on Saturday, November 4, now!

Mrs. Maria Di Giovanni invites you to the 4th edition of this event organized for the benefit of the Alzheimer Society of Montreal in honour of her husband, Stefano Di Giovanni, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2007.

"Stefano has always been the happiest person in the room, ready to help anyone in need without ever asking for anything in return. He was the life of the party and loved to amuse us with his wonderful stories and laughter. This Stefano no longer exists— dementia has taken away his soul and left his body. What remains of Stefano are the happy memories we shared with him. We miss him terribly." – Maria Di Giovanni.

Your contribution can help provide support for the Di Giovanni family and many others like them. The Alzheimer Society of Montreal offers respite for caregivers and stimulation for people living with dementia; supports promising research projects; organizes education and awareness initiatives; and provides support and counselling to those in need. If we want to make Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias a thing of the past, the Society needs your help.
