Respite and stimulation services play a significant role in providing support to informal caregivers who may benefit from a few hours to complete other important tasks, care for their own personal needs or simply do something pleasurable for themselves. They also grant the person living with Alzheimer’s or a related disease the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities, develop relationships, and use their skills and talents in significant ways. These are programs that bring many sighs of relief, and many moments of joy.
