This National Coffee Day, Have an Alzheimer Coffee Break® Thanks to Tim Hortons!

Celebrate National Coffee Day on Thursday, September 29, while raising a cup of joe in support of those who face dementia!

The Tim Hortons mobile coffee truck will be parked outside the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s provincial office at 828 West 8th Avenue and will be generously providing coffee and hot chocolate to the public between 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. in return for a donation to the Society’s annual Alzheimer Coffee Break®.

In its twenty-first year, Coffee Break is the Alzheimer Society’s longest-running fundraiser. In B.C. alone it has raised over one million dollars. Coffee Break raises vital funds to support the Society’s programs and services, and it invites communities to participate in much-needed conversations so that we can all better understand dementia.

If you would like to #RaiseAMug by hosting a Coffee Break or attending a public Coffee Break near you, click here. Your support will make a difference to the estimated 70,000 British Columbians living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.
