We have a brand new Anything for Alzheimer's website to help you spread hope this holiday season!
The Alzheimer Society of B.C. is celebrating this winter and we hope British Columbians will join us by turning their festivities into fundraisers! The Anything for Alzheimer’s holiday fundraising campaign allows individuals or groups to transform holiday parties and events into fundraisers to benefit those in the province who face dementia. To support our committed fundraisers, the Society has also recently relaunched our Anything for Alzheimer’s website.
The Anything for Alzheimer’s website makes it easy for you to organize your event and fundraise! By visiting anythingforalzheimers.com, you will be able to register your event and create your own fundraising page, which can be shared with your contacts. You can also use this to track your donations. You will also have access to helpful information, tools and templates to help you put on and promote your event.
With the “silly season” approaching, now is a great time to start thinking about how you can incorporate fundraising into your annual holiday parties. Whether you are getting together with family members, friends, co-workers, neighbours or clubs, you can turn festivities into fundraisers! You can do this is many ways – you can host a gingerbread decorating competition, swap out gifts for donations or have a karaoke challenge on New Year’s Eve. You can see our Holiday Fundraising Guide for more information.
Spread hope this holiday season to the estimated over 70,000 British Columbians impacted by dementia! By holding a holiday fundraiser you will help the Alzheimer Society of B.C. provide support, education and research for a cure.
To host an Anything for Alzheimer’s holiday fundraising event, contact development officer, Theresa Frazao at 604-742-4947 or register on the website.
