Receiving a diagnosis

Receiving a diagnosis of dementia can be a difficult and overwhelming experience for you and your family. For some, it may also bring a sense of relief at finally being able to put a name to the symptoms they have been experiencing.

Nevertheless, it can be hard to know what to do first; you will likely have a lot of questions. Getting the information and support you need can help you take charge.
