Building a Strong Foundation for Dementia Care
Our foundational workshop is Building a Strong Foundation for Dementia Care.
The core workshop is six hours long but can be adjusted to meet your needs. It is designed to equip health-care providers with foundational information. Our newly-released guidebook, Building a Strong Foundation for Dementia Care, supplements the information provided in our educational workshop. Key topics covered in the workshop and guidebook include:
- Understanding dementia
- Communicating with people living with dementia
- Responding to behaviours common among people living with dementia

In partnership with SafeCare BC, we offer Creating Connections: Working with people with dementia.
