Age friendly communities

Over the next 20 years, the number of older adults aged 65 and over in Ontario will almost double to 4.2 million. Age-friendly communities are creating physical and social environments that support independent and active living for an aging population. They help older adults live safely, enjoy good health and stay involved.

Through the establishment of strategic partnerships, the delivery of Minds in Motion is contributing to the further development of age-friendly communities. Learn more about age-friendly communities.

We are thrilled to be bringing a new and innovative program with a track record for success to our rural community. We are so looking forward to engaging individuals with dementia and their caregivers as they work towards a better quality of life.
