Holiday greetings, and we hope to see you in January

At this time of year, we reflect on the progress made to support British Columbians affected by dementia and set our sights on the year ahead. We’re looking forward to building on those successes in 2019, beginning with Alzheimer’s Awareness Month in January when we will be holding open houses at our resource centres in five communities: Kelowna, Prince George, Vancouver, Victoria and Surrey.

We invite you to join us at the open house close to your community. You will have the chance to meet our community spokespeople for the awareness campaign entitled “Yes. I live with dementia. Let me help you understand,” along with our incredible volunteer award recipients.

All members of the public are invited, and event details are below. By attending, you will celebrate our successes and show people living with dementia in our communities that they don’t ever walk alone.

We want to send our heartfelt gratitude to all those who helped make the province more welcoming and supportive for people living with dementia over the last year and we hope to keep up the momentum in 2019.

Season’s greetings to you and your family,

Maria Howard
Chief Executive Officer
