An endowment fund is like a charitable investment fund, where a donation is permanently invested and the income earned each year is used to support the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region for a purpose that the donor usually designates.

Building an endowment is essential because it ensures that the Alzheimer Society has a stable source of funding to provide specialized programs in the Niagara Region that enhance the quality of life of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias and all who love and care for them. With a minimum gift of $10,000 a named endowment can be established in honour or in memory of a donor, family member or loved one. It is a deeply personal statement of who you are (or the impact a loved one has had on your life) and what you believe should be supported long into the future.
