Toyota knows that Alzheimer’s and dementia touch many lives in Oxford County, potentially including team members and their families. That’s why the company is back again as a sponsor of the 2019 Walk for Alzheimer’s.
Suzanne Baal, Manager, Human Resources and Communications, says Toyota understands that the resources the Alzheimer Society provides are especially important in small cities such as Woodstock and the surrounding rural areas.
“Creating communities and networks where people can get help, share experiences and support each other is invaluable, and is part of what the Alzheimer Society of Oxford accomplishes in its programs and services.”
Why should other people participate in the Walk for Alzheimer’s or help to support it? There’s no downside to helping out, Suzanne says.
“Alzheimer’s touches so many people you can be certain your involvement or support will have a meaningful impact,” she says.
