Alzheimer Society Peel is here to help and assist individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. By hosting a Coffee Break fundraiser, you are making your coffee count!
What is Coffee Break?
Coffee Break is an annual event put on by Alzheimer Society to raise funds for each local Alzheimer Society. This event is nationwide where friends, co-workers, and customers gather across Canada to raise fund for their local Alzheimer Societies. Businesses, organizations, schools, places of worship, clubs, care facilities, community groups, and individuals are invited to host a Coffee Break event during the month of September. Hosts support the Society by collecting a donation for every cup of coffee they serve. The donations collected go towards programs, services, and support for individuals in Peel.
How does Coffee Break work?
Coffee Break works through our hosts! As a host, you are provided with coffee, promotional materials, education, and decorations from the Alzheimer Society Peel, in order to have a successful event. Hosts are encouraged to make their event unique and fun! As a host, you have the ability to do what you want with your event, therefore, we encourage our hosts to be creative!
Where does a Coffee Break take place?
Coffee Break can take place in businesses, organizations, and schools, places of worship, clubs, care facilities, and community groups. Your fundraising event can be large or small, simple or elaborate.
What does it cost to host a Coffee Break?
Hosting a Coffee Break is FREE! Alzheimer Society Peel will provide hosts with supplies, posters and information to make their event as successful as possible. In the past, we have noticed that Coffee Breaks are generally more successful when hosts add their own flair to the event. Each host has full control of how they would like to run their fundraiser.

How do I host a Coffee Break?
Hosting a Coffee Break is very simple and a great way to raise awareness and funds for a great cause.
- Register with us by filling out the Registration Form or call us at 905-278-3667 ext. 207 to register over the phone
- Indicate the supplies you need. Please note that our supplies are limited, however, we will do our best in providing the supplies you have requested.
Our Coffee Break representative will contact you for confirmation and further host kit information.
Where do Coffee Break donations go?
All donations collected through Coffee Break go to our services and supports for individuals and family with Alzheimer disease and other related dementias. The money raised will go directly to our day programs, respite services, and counselling services.
When can I host my event?
Our official Coffee Break fundraiser is September 21st, 2018. You as a host are able to plan your event whenever is most convenient for you. However, please note that we require all funds to be returned by December 15th, 2018 at the latest.
