Suvien helps you remember, connect and converse
Suvien is a free application for the iPad which allows friends and family to upload and customize photos, videos, and music to create an album of memories. This allows those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia to remember, connect and converse about these memories to feel more engaged.
How to use Suvien
How to setup, use and manage Suvien on your iPad for the best interactive experience:
Login with the account information you created from step 1. If you were invited by someone to Suvien you can skip step 3
4. Add a profile Add a profile per intended user.
Enter their first name, last name, date of birth, and photo of the person with dementia.
5. Add media and content
Click on the profile of the person you wish to manage then click add pictures, add videos, or add songs/voice messages*. A display will appear labeled “Drag files here or click to Upload”. Once you drag/find your file each upload will require you to fill out the caption field that other users will see. *Ensure that all voice messages and songs are in the MP3 format.
6. Changing and deleting content
Content can be modified or removed by navigating to the Manage Content page and simply select the content you wish to edit. An overlay will appear allowing you to change captions, crop, rotate, and delete of the content.
