To alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias while improving the quality of life of our clients, their families and caregivers and to promote research for a cure.
To be, the North East Ontario Centre of excellence, innovation and research in collaboration with community partners, for the care, treatment and support of those affected with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.
Our core values define the way that all Local Societies will work together. Central to this work is a commitment to people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and their caregivers to the following values:

As Society engages in building the changes necessary to meet the growing needs, innovation and focused approaches will be of the utmost importance in our work. This requires investments into our future and enhanced belief in all we do. The following strategies will be built into every priority and within all who work, volunteer and promote the Société Alzheimer Society role in dementia care.
