Long-Term Care Transitional Self-Health Group

Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region

This 6-session weekly support group is designed specifically for care partners with a family member living in long-term care.

This closed 6-session weekly support group runs every Thursday from February 16, 2023 - March 23, 2023.

Registration for this series has now closed. Please pre-register for the next series and a staff member will contact you with information.

This 6-session weekly support group is designed specifically for care partners with a family member living in long-term care. Facilitated by our counselling staff, this series will help anyone adjusting to their family member being in care, including the challenges experienced during this period of COVID restrictions.

Please note:

All participants must be double vaccinated (please bring proof of vaccination with you).
Masks are optional for participants but physical distancing will be practiced to the best of our ability.
Our building is still open while the Linhaven property is under construction but visitor parking may be limited. Visitors may need to park in the lot at the back of Linhaven. Please note that this is approximately a 5-minute walk to the ASNR building.
