Our annual fall fundraiser, Coffee Break, has been re-branded, and we're inviting the community to show support for persons living with dementia in Social with a Purpose!

Join us in Social with a Purpose in support of persons living with dementia and their care partners in our community!

What is Social with a Purpose?

Social with a Purpose^® is a do-it-yourself fundraiser that promotes the importance of remaining social, staying in touch, and building strong, positive relationships with your friends, family, and community. You can host virtually, in person or a combination of both.

Why is Social with a Purpose important?

People living with dementia and their care partners often experience social isolation from their family, friends, and the community as a whole.

At the Alzheimer Society, we strive to do everything we can to minimize those feelings of loneliness and isolation by providing people living with dementia and their care partners access to our social and recreation programming, and we need your help to continue!

That’s why we created Social with a Purpose^®!

How can you help? It’s Easy!

BE A HOST: Get creative and host your own social. You can help raise funds by selling items, coffee, having a garage sale, lunch break, the options are endless and completely up to you!

SELL CUT-OUTS: Sell our forget me not cut-outs (you choose the price). They can be displayed for your clients, customers, or guests to see!

MAKE A DONATION: Unable to participate but still want to support the Alzheimer Society? You can still donate by mailing or dropping off a cheque at any of our office locations!
