The Lifestyle, Exercise and Diet Study: A Virtual, Lifestyle Approach to Improve Cognitive Function

What is this Study about?

The purpose of this study is to assess whether a virtually-delivered healthy lifestyle intervention (over Zoom) is feasible for individuals who feel that their memory or thinking is declining. This entire study can be completed from the comfort of your own home. We will also explore whether this program can improve thinking abilities, physical function, and quality of life.

What Will Happen in This Study?

You will be randomized into one of four groups. Each group will receive a combination of healthy lifestyle interventions (e.g. exercise and healthy lifestyle education). During the intervention, you will be asked to participate in 3 sessions per week, consisting of two virtual group sessions (3 hours total) and one independent session (1 hour). Virtual sessions will occur in groups of 6-8 participants using Zoom on a computer or tablet, and will involve a combination of exercise and healthy lifestyle education and training. For the independent sessions, you will follow a pre-recorded exercise session.
