Experiences of local community-based programs and services from the perspective of people living with dementia and family caregivers of people living with dementia in communities and surrounding areas of RaDAR memory clinics
What is this Study about?
The objective of this research is to conduct telephone interviews with people living with dementia and/or their family carers to explore their perspective of, and experience with, local community-based programs and services in southeast Saskatchewan communities and surrounding areas of RaDAR memory clinics (Kipling, Weyburn, Bengough, Radville, and Carlyle). Research findings will be published in technical reports, public forums, conference abstracts and presentations, and open access peer-reviewed publication.
What Will Happen in This Study?
The participants role will be to take part in one semi-structured telephone interview. The telephone interview will take approximately 45-60 minutes of their time.
Interview data will be analyzed thematically and presented with quotations, with all identifying information removed.
Who is Eligible to Participate in this Study?
You are eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are a person living with dementia [self-reported] or a family carer of a person living with dementia.
- Reside in areas of southeast Saskatchewan communities and surrounding areas of RaDAR memory clinics (Kipling, Weyburn, Bengough, Radville, and Carlyle).
