Exploring the Role of OHTs caring for Individuals living with Dementia and Their Caregivers

What is this Study about?

Our study aims to understand the perspectives of various stakeholders involved in dementia care within Ontario health teams, including healthcare providers, caregivers, and patients. By exploring the strategies, challenges, and innovations shaping dementia care integration, we hope to identify opportunities for improvement and ultimately enhance the quality of life for individuals living with dementia in Ontario.

What Will Happen in This Study?

Participants will be asked to partake in an interview on zoom, which may take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. During the interview, participants will be asked a few open-ended questions regarding their experience as a caregiver or person living with dementia. The interview is structured to be less formal and more conversation-based.

Who is Eligible to Participate in this Study?

You are eligible to participate if you or your loved one is living with dementia and would like to share your experience so that we can act to improve the quality of care for individuals living with dementia in Ontario.
