Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Aging Normative Study
What is this Study about?
The aim of this study is to obtain normative data across different age groups and sex for six scales that measure physical activity, brain-healthy eating, cognitive engagement, social connections, and mental wellbeing. We also want to gather information about change in these measures over a week's time. This information will be used at the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness, the world's first research-based community centre delivering personalized dementia risk reduction programs, to give members information on their dementia risk level and whether they made significant gains over time.
What Will Happen in This Study?
In the first session, we’ll ask you about health factors, for your email address (so we can reach out to you for the second session), sex, age decade, level of education, race, height, and weight. In both sessions, you will be asked to complete the six brief scales. One week after you complete the first session, you will receive an email to complete the second session, where you will just be asked to complete the six scales again. We ask you to complete this second session within four days of receiving the email. Each session takes ~15 minutes to complete.
