Emerging Adults Caring for a Parent with Advanced Disease
What is this Study about?
The goal of this study is to better understand the caregiving experience during emerging adulthood (ages 18-29), the stage of development between adolescence and adulthood. We want to learn about the experience of caring for and supporting a parent diagnosed with a serious, incurable illness. We are interested in understanding how emerging adults cope with this challenging experience over time, and how the experience of caregivers may compare to non-caregivers during emerging adulthood.
What Will Happen in This Study?
You will be asked to complete a survey including questions about your mood and wellbeing, social support, and caregiving experience. The survey will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.

You are eligible to participate if you:
• are currently providing unpaid support for a parent living with a serious, incurable, and progressive physical illness, disease, or disability
• are between 18-29 years old
• are living in Canada
• are able to speak and read English sufficiently
