To purchase your tickets, visit us at the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District at 61 Great Northern Road or call (705) 942-2195 between the hours of 8:30-4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Draw date is on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 4:30pm at the Alzheimer Society office at 61 Great Northern Road.
Tickets are only $10.00 each and only 6,200 tickets are available for sale.
Licence Number M834752.
Proceeds provide services to local persons living with dementia.
Must be 18 years old or older to purchase and redeem tickets.
IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s
In the month of May, people of all ages across Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District walked together for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s to show those living with dementia and their care partners that they are not alone.
Across Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District over $132,450 was raised (and counting) in support of the local Alzheimer Society! Thank you for your hard work and commitment to supporting people living with dementia and their care partners. Participants in the #IGWalkforAlz helped raise crucial funds and awareness to meet the growing demand in life-changing programs and services that our community relies on.
Heartfelt thanks you to all of our sponsors, donors, supporters, volunteers, and participants for their support in Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Elliot Lake, and Blind River.

Host a Social with a Purpose
The Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District invites you to participate in the do-it-yourself fall fundraiser Social with a Purpose (formerly known as Coffee break)
This popular event runs in the month of September and October, and can be hosted in-person, online, or a combination of both. You can host at work, with your social club, or at home and help make a difference in our community.
Use your creativity and blend with another event such as a dress down day, yard sale, or Game Night.

Funds raised remain local to support programs and services that improve the quality of life of local people living with dementia. Social programming, family support and counselling, education, Adult Day Program, and recreation therapy can make such a difference!
