Recreation Therapist - East Algoma (Elliot Lake)
Job Status: Permanent Full Time - 35 hr/week
Starting Wage: $21.50/hr
Reports to: Manager, Respite Services
Hours of Work: 8:30am - 4:30pm. Mostly weekdays but weekends and evenings may be required.
Job Location: Elliot Lake, Blind River, and other North Shore communities
Primary duties include developing individualized recreation/activity treatment plans, conducting weekly in-home programs to provide client activation and care partner respite, and evaluating the effectiveness of the programming.

First Link Coordinator - North Algoma (Wawa)
Job Status: Part-Time Contract - 21 hr/week. Ends September 2027
Starting Wage: $24.00/hr
Reports to: Manager, Clinical Services
Hours of Work: 8:30am - 4:30pm. Mostly weekdays but weekends and evenings may be required.
Job Location: Sault Ste. Marie with occasional travel within Algoma District (Batchewana Bay to Thessalon)
This role implements the First Link program in Sault Ste. Marie, to guiding families facing dementia in Sault Ste. Marie from first contact to long-term support. Please note that this position requires a post secondary education as well as current membership in a regulated health profession (e.g., nursing, social work, etc.)..

Job Location: Wawa, White River, Dubreuiville, Hornepayne, & Chapleau with occasional travel to Sault Ste. Marie
This role implements the First Link program in North Algoma, delivering dementia support services and specialized education through commnity collaboration. It also assists with local volunteer coordination and fundraiser initiatives.
