Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Christina Scicluna
Christina Scicluna joined the Alzheimer Society of Canada as Chief Executive Officer in January 2025, bringing nearly 20 years of progressive leadership experience in purpose-driven organizations.
Before joining the ASC, Christina served as Interim CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto. A certified Chief of Staff by the Chief of Staff Association and a Master Facilitator, Christina is skilled in collaborative, dialogue-based consultation practices informed by behavioral science. Her expertise in fostering inclusive engagement, earning trust, and driving collective action make her a highly effective leader in complex and rapidly evolving environments.
Christina’s leadership is a deeply personal and mission-driven one. Inspired by her grandmother Cesira’s journey with dementia and her own mother’s role as the primary caregiver, she brings empathy, humanity, and a strong commitment to improving the lives of those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
Dave Cull’s – Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness
Dave Cull has been working with the Alzheimer Society of Canada since April 2024. Beginning in July, Dave Cull assumed an expanded role as Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness. In this role, Dave will lead organizational planning, performance measurement, and internal project leadership—key functions that will help drive alignment and operational excellence across our national work.
Dave has spent his career working in various sectors (Financial Services, Telecommunications, Social Services) in both for profit and not-for profit organizations. His over 30 years of experience and expertise in operations, strategy, planning and change management, enables him to provide thoughtful and effective advice to support leaders addressing the organizational opportunities in front of them.
Anne Pastuszak – Senior Director, Research and KTE
Anne Pastuszak is a seasoned nonprofit leader with more than two decades of experience in program design, implementation, evaluation, and knowledge mobilization. She has worked across health care, research, and community-based sectors to lead national and international initiatives that translate evidence into meaningful action. With a strong foundation in strategic planning, evidence-based analysis and cross-sector collaboration, Anne brings both a systems-thinking mindset and a practical approach to delivering impact. She is deeply committed to centering lived experience and data in her work, and to building capacity across teams to support learning, alignment, and continuous improvement.

Lara Sanders, CPA, CMA – Vice President, Finance
Lara Sanders joined the Alzheimer Society of Canada as Interim Vice President of Finance in November 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience as a skilled financial leader and trusted business partner.
Over the last 12 years, Lara has worked in high profile charitable organizations in both Canada and abroad, including Cancer Research UK, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and more recently, the Law Foundation of Ontario. Her work is informed by a high level of curiosity, positivity, and a strong sense of personal integrity. With proven expertise in financial operations, strategic planning, risk management and process improvement, Lara has been committed to making an impact to the charitable sector throughout her career.
Motivated by her lived experience as a caregiver, she hopes to contribute to improving the lives of people impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Jacqueline Watty – Interim Vice President, Philanthropy
Jacqueline joined the Alzheimer Society of Canada fractionally in May 2025 and as of September 2025, she has stepped into the Interim VP of Philanthropy role. Jacqueline’s fundraising and leadership career has spanned over 20 years in the academic advancement and charitable sector, holding progressive roles at the University of Guelph, Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, and the University of Windsor. She has developed sustainable cross-faculty programs, built fundraising infrastructure, overseen several alumni associations and boards, and led and mentored staff, as well as volunteers. She has successfully secured million-dollar-plus gifts and worked on campaigns with goals upwards of $200 million.
Working collaboratively to support those we serve who are living with Dementia is at the heart of how she operates.
Brianne Zelinsky-Carew, Vice President Brand Engagement
Brianne is a communications leader who has helped social impact organizations navigate transformation with clarity and purpose. She has partnered with both for-profit and non-profit organizations to develop and guide communications strategies, working across systems and teams to drive alignment and engagement. Most recently, she supported The Salvation Army Canada & Bermuda’s enterprise transformation, facilitating the development and overseeing the lifecycle of communications for the territory’s first vision statement and 2020 strategy.
Bringing a thoughtful change management approach to her work, Brianne combines strategic insight with creativity to design communications that inform, inspire, and mobilize. At the Alzheimer Society of Canada, she applies this approach to advance awareness, deepen engagement, and strengthen brand impact. She provides collaborative leadership across ASC teams and federation working groups, supporting initiatives in marketing and communications, advocacy and public affairs, and digital engagement. She is passionate about building campaigns and initiatives that connect people to our mission through advocacy.
