Society newsletters for Alzheimer's Awareness Month
January is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, and the winter issues of Connections and Insight are now available, highlighting British Columbians who are standing up and saying, “Yes, I live with dementia. Let me help you understand.”
|Connections is a newsletter for people affected by and concerned about dementia in B.C. Hear a little bit about Myrna Norman’s experience with stigma as someone living with dementia. You'll also find tips to navigate health-care services, a story about a couple affected by young onset dementia, and a profile of one of our star volunteers. Read about the Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer's, coming to a new B.C. community this spring.|
Insight is a newsletter for people living with dementia. Learn about stigma that has been encountered by people living with the illness and hear about what the experience of young onset dementia can be like. You’ll also find a profile of a volunteer living with dementia and find out how the Society is working to build a dementia-friendly society.
