Today, their bond is as strong as ever as they face the challenges of dementia together. Lillian lives in the Memory Care section of Seasons Retirement Communities, where she receives the care she needs. Walter, ever devoted, is by her side every day, offering her his love, support and presence.

This yearly contest invites nominations for residents who exemplify resilience, talent, and volunteerism, showcasing their remarkable experiences and positive impact on their communities.
When Walter became a finalist in the program, he selected the Alzheimer Society of Canada as his charity of choice. His participation resulted in a $5,000 donation to support dementia research and provide vital resources to families like his.
