  - LATE-NCLimbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (or LATE-NC) is the most recently identified form of dementia, noted for its close similarity to Alzheimer’s.

The Ontario Dementia Care Alliance (ODCA) was founded in by the Alzheimer Society of Ontario in December 2022 to be an independent, expert advisory body to the Government of Ontario, offering proactive recommendations to improve dementia care in the province.
