Let’s Get Cooking Program
A special cooking workshop is being held at Vince's Market in Sharon, East Gwillimbury, for caregivers of people living with dementia.
Join Chef Bev MacDonald as she leads a group of caregivers through some nutritional meal prep and cooking, with our Let's Get Cooking program.
Sponsored by Vince's Market locations in Sharon and Tottenham, with food provided by Andrea Diaz, volunteers and staff from both the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County and Alzheimer Society of York Region will join in the event.
We know caregivers are sometimes unexpectedly asked to step up to the challenge, and even if it's your first time prepping a meal, Chef Bev will walk you through the task, from selecting ingredients and forming a meal plan.
