Education Programs & Resources

The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County provides education programs to people living with dementia, family & friends, health care providers and the general public.

Information packages and a wide range of resources are also available.

The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County has been a leader in dementia education in Simcoe County since 1985.

Our education sessions are designed to support people throughout each stage of their journey with dementia by increasing knowledge on topics such as managing changes, planning for the future, communication strategies, emotional well-being, and safety. We also offer education opportunities for healthcare providers, businesses, and organization across Simcoe County to enhance their knowledge about dementia and how to create accessible environments.

Education session are provided across Simcoe County, both in-person and online. There is no cost to attend our education programs, although some professional workshops or sessions with workbooks may have a nominal fee
