A Breakfast to Remember returns to Vancouver and Victoria in 2015
A Breakfast to Remember allows participants in both Vancouver and Victoria to hear from inspiring business leaders and network while they support the Alzheimer Society of B.C. and the over 70,000 individuals – and their families – impacted by dementia in B.C.
In 2008, family members in B.C. provided over 33.1 million hours of informal, unpaid care. This number is expected to grow to 118.7 million by 2038. A Breakfast to Remember addresses the need for the business community to demonstrate leadership and generate awareness in their workplace and community of the challenges and stigma of dementia, as well as providing information on where to access education programs and support services.
