First Link Referral Form
First Link® is a program that gives persons living with dementia, their care partners and family a direct connection to a wide variety of services and supports offered through the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region and within the community.

French Language Services
We are dedicated to supporting people living with dementia and their care partners, by ensuring that language is never a barrier to accessing the care and assistance you deserve.

Education Programs
Our Education Team offers a range of workshops, seminars, training sessions, and educational programs for individuals living with dementia, care partners, healthcare professionals, and community partners, available in both English and French.

Dementia-Friendly Communities
A Dementia friendly community is a place where people living with dementia and their care partners are welcomed, included and supported. It is a community that pays attention to the social and physical needs of the person living with dementia.
Dementia friendly communities training provides local businesses and organizations with education to increase understanding, reduce stigma and recognize potential.

Social Recreation Programs
Our Active Living programs are geared to individuals living with dementia or cognitive (memory) change and their care partners, family and friends.
