Be a fundraiser

Each Alzheimer society must raise it’s own funds in order to provide it’s services.

As such we rely on people like you to help us support people living with dementia and their caregivers within your own community.

Each year we hold two main fundraisers. The proceeds generated by these special events will contribute to maintaining the quality, and promoting the development of programs and services offered to persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, to their families and caregivers.

Walk for Memories

This event is typically held on the last weekend in May. Come and enjoy a day of fun and happy memories and contribute to the success of this local event. You can help by:

  • Purchasing a sponsorship
  • Walking for the cause
  • Working as part of the organizing committee
  • Volunteering on the day

Benefiting the

Alzheimer Society Suroît

This event is typically held the second Friday in August. Each year we have been honoured by the presence of hockey veterans who join us at this tournament named after the great Elmer Lach. In 2012 we were pleased to welcome Normand Baron, Nicolas Deslauriers, Karl Dykhuis, Mario Faubert, Don Marshall and Pierre Plante.

You can help by:

  • Purchasing a partnership
  • Purchasing a sponsorship
  • Donations in kind and/or gifts for auction
  • Golfing
  • Working as part of the organizing committee
  • Volunteering on the day

Help for today,

         Hope for tomorrow!
