2025 Awareness Month Movies
Every year we choose two movies featuring characters whose lives are touched by dementia. This year's movies are "Dear Audrey" and "Headful of Honey". Join us in Stratford on January 28 and in Goderich on February 6 & 13.

In Dear Audrey (2021), we meet Martin Duckworth, an acclaimed activist filmmaker who has devoted his life to peace and justice. Marten has now put down his camera to fight for the most compelling cause he has ever faced – caring for his wife, Audrey Schirmer, through the final stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Martin demonstrates his unconditional loyalty as he finds new reasons to love her each day.

Goderich - Headful of Honey (2018)

This uplifting movie, starring Nick Nolte and his granddaughter Sophia Lane Nolte, portrays a granddaughter who takes her grandfather on a train trip to Venice, in hopes of reconnecting with old memories.
