At the Alzheimer Society of Huron County, we facilitate programs to help our clients stay active and engaged. Our live programs - in-person or via ZOOM -provide an opportunity for building and maintaining strong social connections.
Minds in Motion®
Our popular Minds in Motion® program has been a Society mainstay since 2014. A combination of physical activity and social recreation, we aim to keep the body and the mind active! The weekly 2-hour program is currently offered online, but we hope to return to our sites in Clinton, Goderich, Wingham, Exeter and Grand Bend as soon as possible.
Social Recreation Programs
Our Society runs many social programs throughout the year. During the CoVid19 pandemic, we have found creative ways to continue to meet online. Our social programs include our weekly Golden Ukulele Program and our Wellness Cafes offered via ZOOM. We are also returning to in-person programs with our Ukulele Jams and Urban Pole Walking Programs.
Our special "Together Apart" events include Virtual Flower arranging, Art Programs, Dining events, National Ballet School fitness, Music programs and more. We look forward to having you join us!
