  - LATE-NCLimbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (or LATE-NC) is the most recently identified form of dementia, noted for its close similarity to Alzheimer’s.

It's time to register for our 13th Annual Alzheimer's Awareness Conference - Strength in Every Step: Fostering Resilience in the Face of Dementia

We are delighted to host our 13^th annual Alzheimer’s Awareness Conference in person and virtually on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the Rodd Royalty in Charlottetown. This event is designed to provide meaningful learning opportunities for individuals living with dementia, family caregivers, healthcare providers, and the public.

This year, we're excited to introduce concurrent sessions with two streams of presentations geared towards healthcare providers and for family/friend caregivers. Guest presenters and Alzheimer Society staff will speak on supporting resilience for better health outcomes, planning for significant changes (moves to long-term care, wills, estates, power of attorney), atypical dementias, responding to changes in behaviour and mood, and more.

Conference tickets include the cost of the conference, morning refreshments, and lunch.
