The Dementia Care Training program provides comprehensive education for healthcare providers about best practices in dementia care. Learn the theory and practice of U-First!®, PIECES™, Positive Approach to Care®, DementiAbility, and LGBTQ2S+ perspectives.

DCT 101 - Understanding Alzheimer's and dementia, changes in sensation and perception, and certification in U-First!® including PIECES. LGBTQ2S+ perspectives. Intro to Positive Approach to Care®, GEM state model, and hand-under-hand technique.

This training is for: All those working in health or community care (Managers/Coordinators, RCW, RN/NP, Clinicians, SW, OT, PT, Admin Support, Facilities Support)
