  - LATE-NCLimbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (or LATE-NC) is the most recently identified form of dementia, noted for its close similarity to Alzheimer’s.

Charlottetown Support Group for persons living with early stage dementia. The group will meet from 1-2pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

Living with Changes in Thinking and Memory - Support Circle

We’re launching a NEW Living with Changes in Thinking and Memory - Support Circle for persons living with MCI or the early stages of dementia in Charlottetown! The group provides a safe and supportive environment where you can learn, laugh, and help each other through mutual understanding. Connect with others living a similar journey and learn from one another about how to live well with dementia.

Support Circle offers a chance to:

Exchange information and form friendships
Access the most current information
Learn and share practical tips for coping
Decrease feelings of loneliness and isolation
Express feelings and receive support
Find a sense of hope

The group will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 1-2pm.

Pre-registration is required to attend.
