The holiday season can be a challenging and stressful time for families affected by dementia, and we are here to help.
Finding Light in the Holidays: Support Session is a gentle, reflective workshop designed to help people slow down, breathe, and rethink the pressures that show up this time of year. Together, we will explore the power of small moments, look at kinder ways to approach traditions and expectations, and choose grounding words or values to hold onto through the season. It’s a casual space to share and feel supported, less alone, and a little more steady heading into the holidays.
This session is intended for those supporting a family member or friend living with dementia.
Hosted by the Alzheimer Society of PEI - Shelley King, Manager of Programs and Services & Kristen Sherman, Counselling Therapist
