“When someone close, whether it be family, a friend or colleague become affected by a serious illness or disease, you become acutely aware of the impact this can have on the person and their loved ones.”

- Herbert Wheaton

Wheaton Chevrolet and Wheaton KIA in Regina, under the leadership of Herb Wheaton, are dedicated advocates for community well-being, with philanthropy at the heart of their mission.

“I’ve seen firsthand how both early onset and later stage Alzheimer’s disease has forever changed the way one manages simple everyday living. It’s my hope that someday, with a breakthrough in research, we can reverse the effects of this terrible disease.”

Herb, his wife, Scarlett, and Wheaton KIA/Chevrolet have generously sponsored many Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan events, including our Night to Remember Gala. Herb has also devoted many volunteer hours to support the Society. His involvement in our Gala Committee has helped raise critical funds for dementia research.

“The Alzheimer Society has always been important to us and we’ve been proud to be loyal supporters going back years.”

Wheaton KIA and Chevrolet are the recipients of the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan’s 2023-2024 Corporate Leadership Award. The award honours a business or corporation that has made an outstanding philanthropic impact through its financial and leadership contribution to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.

Herb and Scarlett Wheaton have contributed $100,000 towards unlocking dementia research.
