Don Martel: Around The World Cycle Tour 2024

At 9 a.m. on Monday, July 1st meet Don at the Great Canadian Flag in Dieppe Gardens (foot of Ouellette Avenue) as he begins his journey.

Don Martel, a seasoned adventurer and philanthropist, is embarking on an extraordinary journey - an around-the-world cycle tour commencing on Monday, July 1^st, 2024. This ambitious expedition aims to raise awareness and funds for individuals living with dementia, a cause close to Don's heart.

Setting off from Windsor, Don Martel, at the remarkable age of 66, will kickstart his global odyssey, pedaling across continents and through diverse landscapes. Along the way, Don will share his captivating experiences, connect with local supporters, and engage with societies dedicated to dementia awareness and support.

With a wealth of experience in long-distance cycling expeditions, Don has set his sights on this monumental challenge to raise awareness and funds for individuals living with dementia. Supporters worldwide can track Don's progress in real-time through a live map and follow his adventures.

The funds generated from this monumental campaign will be channeled towards the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County, enabling them to uphold their commitment to delivering high-quality services and support to individuals affected by dementia and their caregivers.
