Each September, people unite from all corners of the world to raise awareness and to challenge the stigma that persists around Alzheimer’s disease and all types of dementia.

Join us for the World Alzheimer’s Day Breakfast at Willistead Manor on Friday, September 19, 2025, to witness the exciting results of our 2025 Matching Gift Campaign sponsored by Ground Effects Ltd and the Scott Family Foundation.

Each year, the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County (ASWE) honours an individual or a group who demonstrates continued commitment to our local Alzheimer Society. The Generosity of Spirit award has been established to honour and recognize individuals who have had a philanthropic impact on improving the quality of life of persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

This year's recipient of the Generosity of Spirit award is Barb Pye (Kingsville Memory Café).
