Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia; by 2031 an estimated 1.4 million Canadians will be living with dementia. Research is key to changing this story. To move towards our vision of a world without dementia, the Alzheimer Society of B.C. champions research for tomorrow's treatment and cures. We support quality of life and biomedical research across Canada and nurture innovative research and discovery locally.
