Anything for Alzheimer's
DO YOUR OWN THING IN YOUR OWN UNIQUE WAY!
All year long, New Brunswickers take on the rewarding role of hosting fundraisers on behalf of the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick. Now YOU can be a fundraiser too! Anything for Alzheimer’s makes it easy for you to fundraise by taking your unique idea and making it a success. It just takes a little creativity, some planning, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia. And we are always here to help!
Why get involved?
Your fundraising is essential to help us support people affected by Alzheimer's or another form of dementia in our province. For the 15,000 people in New Brunswick living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, you will provide Help for Today. Hope for Tomorrow…® AND do your own thing in your own unique way.
Where does the money go?
The money raised through third party fundraisers supports services such as: our toll-free InfoLine, monthly caregiver support networks, family education series, public information sessions, and our 6 resource centres that offer a wide variety of information for caregivers and persons living with dementia. All funds raised in New Brunswick stays in the province!
September is World Alzheimer’s Month and our objective is to reach to as many people as possible to show the impact of dementia and to promote awareness. The campaign launches in September and continues throughout the fall.
There are many types of fundraisers you can host in support of Anything for Alzheimer’s. Here's a few ideas (don't forget, you can always surprise us!)
- Coffee Break: Offer coffee, tea, or baked goods to friends, family or colleagues
- Get Active: Organize a walk, run or competition
- Be a corporate hero: Host an event with your colleagues
