Our toll-free Dementia Helpline NB service offers a free, confidential, single-point contact for dementia information and support.
Dementia Helpline NB is a province-wide, bilingual service offering support for people living with dementia, caregivers, families and the public.

Whether you’re looking for one-time guidance or continuous support as you navigate dementia, our team is here to help. Connect with a live person who can provide information, local resources, crisis assistance and emotional support.
You do not need to have a diagnosis to call. Not sure what to ask or where to start? That's okay, too. Just give us a call and we'll guide you from there.
Our professional staff has the knowledge to guide you

There are three ways you can connect with the Dementia Helpline:
- Call us. We are available weekdays anywhere in New Brunswick from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm by calling 1-800-664-8411.
- Email. To reach us by email, send a message to [email protected], and a Dementia Helpline NB team member will respond to you within 24 business hours.
- Referral. Health care providers or community partners may provide a direct referral for their clients / patients through our First Link®Direct Referral program. The general public can also self refer by simply calling the Dementia Helpline NB.
What to expect when you call the Helpline
- Speak with an Intake Coordinator. When you call the Dementia Helpline NB, you will speak with a trained team member who will listen and help determine what support you may need. Our Intake Coordinators provide a confidential, respectful, and non-judgmental space to talk about your situation. You do not need to prepare anything in advance- we are here to meet you where you are.
- Go more in-depth with a First Link Coordinator. Sometimes, circumstances require a more in-depth conversation or ongoing support. We offer free care consultations to provide you with individualized, solution-focused support. You'll speak with a First Link Coordinator who is a caring expert to help you navigate your journey. Each call begins with clarifying your goal or hope for the conversation. From there, we will work in collaboration with you to develop an action plan to address your individual needs.
