About this FREE Event

The Alzheimer Society of Muskoka presents "I'm Still Here", a play exploring ageing and dementia.

I’m Still Here is a research-based drama that follows the lives of four people touched by Alzheimer’s disease. The play brings out the profound effects of the disease not only on the sufferers, but also their friends and families. While I’m Still Here is moving and painful at times, it also offers hope for those dealing with the clients, friends, or loved ones who are suffering from this debilitating and misunderstood disease. Weaving real-life stories with research, I'm Still Here diminishes the fears and stigma that often surrounds dementia.

Each pre-recorded performance is followed by a live interactive session which encourages participants to share their experiences, challenges and questions with fellow attendees, and an expert on dementia.

Join us for this ONLINE and interactive look at dementia and ageing.
