Alzheimer Society LLG COVID-19 Response
Dear Families and Community Partners,
Alzheimer Society LLG continues to monitor the swiftly changing COVID-19 pandemic. We are following the advice of our governments, Federal & Provincial, also recommendations from the Federal and Provincial Chief Medical Officer of Health. Our priority is to ensure the health and safety of our clients, their caregivers and families, volunteers, staff and our community at large.
With Premier Ford’s announcement today, that Ontario is in a State of Emergency, we felt it prudent to close all our programs until April 5 at which time we will reassess. Our staff, understanding the loss of respite hours, recreational programs and face to face meetings will continue to offer support via phone, email and virtual technology. You will be hearing from them as we check in to each week to see how things are.
Our offices are closed to the public but some staff will be onsite and if you would like to communicate with a staff member please feel free to call and our receptionist will connect you.
Change is happening quickly and we will be sure to communicate all changes in our programming as we continue to monitor developments of the pandemic.
If you have a question please contact me and I will answer to the best of my ability and if I do not have an answer I will try to find the answer. Thank you for understanding this drastic change to the programming of the Alzheimer Society Lanark Leeds Grenville.
