  - LATE-NCLimbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (or LATE-NC) is the most recently identified form of dementia, noted for its close similarity to Alzheimer’s.
  - Dementia with Lewy bodiesDementia with Lewy bodies – caused by abnormal 'Lewy bodies' deposits of protein called alpha-synuclein inside of the brain's nerve cells – shares many similarities with Parkinson’s disease.

Free Education Sessions: Part 2 of the First Link Learning Series Care Essentials

April 18th & 25th | 10:30AM - 1:30PM

This series will offer guidance throughout the caregiver journey and strategies for when a person with dementia's care needs have increased. Topics discussed include: the progression of the disease, understanding behaviour, day to day care and community resources. Registration required.
