September is World Alzheimer's Month. Many York Region municipalities are proclaiming the month, lighting up landmarks in blue or raising the Alzheimer flag. We thank you for your support of York Region residents impacted by this fatal disease.

Towns and cities across York Region are letting family, friends and neighbours living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias know they are not alone.

September is World Alzheimer’s Month, a time to raise awareness about this fatal disease and the impact it has on people living with it as well as their caregivers.

Thank you to the following municipalities for supporting the Alzheimer Society of York Region by proclaiming September as World Alzheimer’s Month.

  • Town of Georgina (also proclaiming World Alzheimer's Day Sept. 21)
