Aurora Bridge Club’s event raises funds

The Aurora Bridge Club, which has been in operation since 1965, hosted its Longest Day event June 21, offering free meals, bridge and a chance to learn about AS York and the programs and services it offers.

Ryan Ainsworth - Honorary Family

Musician Ryan Ainsworth is a familiar face at the Aurora and Thornhill DAY programs. Prior to COVID-19, he would perform at the Aurora and Thornhill DAY programs bringing music and joy to clients living with dementia. Ainsworth is this year's IG Wealth Management's Honorary Family. #IGWalkforAlz

Friend with dementia inspires runs

Vikash Jain is running 100K in May to raise funds for programs and services for York Region residents impacted by dementia. He will be running for his friend, John, living with dementia and John's wife, Mary, and for other people impacted by this fatal disease.

Champion Racer is Back to Raise Funds

Jake Cowden races formula 1600 cars in the Toyo Tires series and go-karts on his free weekends. For the second year now, Jake is racing for good and raising funds for AS York in honour of his grandmother, Joyce, who lives with dementia.
