Wishing Dr. Andrews a happy retirement!

We would like to announce the retirement of Dr. George Andrews, who has served as our President and CEO of the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & Northwest Territories with unwavering dedication since 2021. Over his tenure, Dr. Andrews has been our mentor, guide, and inspiration—leading initiatives that have strengthened support for those affected by dementia across Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and throughout Canada. His visionary leadership and compassionate advocacy will leave a lasting impact on individuals and families living with dementia for years to come.

As a compelling public speaker and knowledgeable advocate, Dr. Andrews was always ready to work alongside passionate staff, volunteers, donors, Board Members and, above all, people living with dementia and their care partners. We look forward to continuing his legacy under the leadership of our new CEO and President, Kelly McClung.
