Create a Workplace That Cares

When workplaces come together, they create meaningful change in the communities where they live and work. Whether you're an employee looking to support a cause you care about or an organization seeking meaningful ways to engage your team, workplace giving is a simple and rewarding way to support people living with dementia and their families across York Region.

Every contribution helps provide education, support programs, caregiver resources, and community services for those navigating the dementia journey.

Ways to Get Involved

Payroll Giving

Many employers offer payroll giving, allowing employees to make automatic charitable donations directly from their payroll. Even a small contribution each pay period provides reliable support for local dementia programs and services.

Employer Matching Gifts

Many companies will match charitable donations made by their employees, doubling the impact of every gift at no additional cost to you.

Workplace Fundraising

Bring your team together while giving back to your community.

Whether it's a casual dress day, bake sale,  holiday campaign, fitness challenge, or another creative fundraising activity, we'll help you plan a workplace initiative that reflects your organization's culture and values.

IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's

Join or Form a Walk Team

Bring your colleagues together to participate in the annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s held on the last Saturday of May. Form a workplace team, invite coworkers, family and friends, and spend a meaningful day supporting people impacted by dementia in our community.

Walk in a Box

Can’t attend in person or on a specific day? Bring the experience to your workplace with Walk in a Box.

This do-it-yourself fundraising option lets your company host its own small-scale walk at a time and location that works best for your team. Whether you walk around your office building, workplace courtyard, or a nearby park, it is a fun and flexible way to bring colleagues together while supporting families impacted by dementia.

Our Walk in a Box includes an event guide, fundraising resources, and a participant kit to help you plan a successful event. For more details, contact our team at [email protected].
